Hyderabad, Nov 21: Rebuffing all the reports on his new film, Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan said that he has not signed any project and will stay away from the silver screen due to his political and social commitments. The actor turned politician posted a statement on Twitter and cleared the air.

Earlier, speculations were rife about Pawan Kalyan’s next project after the box-office disaster of Trivikram Srinivas’s Agnyaathavaasi. Terming media reports untrue and misleading, the Power Star maintained that as he is busy with the social engagements,  returning to filmdom is not possible.

Meanwhile, Jana Sena has decided to stay away from the upcoming Telangana assembly polls. Citing the reason of pre-scheduled election, Kalyan announced that Jana Sena will not contest the assembly elections but gearing up for 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.

Pawan Kalyan launched his political party Jana Sena in 2014 and extended support to then BJP-TDP alliance. Once a blue-eyed boy of TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu, the ace actor is openly blaming Naidu for not fulfilling the promises made during 2014 Polls.

The Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu on several occasion dubbed Pawan Kalyan as the mole of BJP who is working on the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister also questioned Jana Sena's move of opting out from Telangana polls.
