Kochi, Nov 22: It seems that Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal’s recent comment on #MeToo has annoyed actress Revathy Asha. The veteran actress, who holds the key position in Women in Cinema Collective, took to Twitter and without mentioning Mohanlal launched a blazing attack on the award-winning actor.

Expressing her anger, the talented actress wrote, #MeToo movement a ‘FAD’ says a Renowned ACTOR. How do we bring some degree of sensitivity in such people? Like Anjali Menon says, the people who have just arrived from MARS have no clue what it means to get abused, what it takes to call out and how this can bring about change!!!

As reported by The News Minute, actor Mohanlal in his recent media reaction dubbed #MeToo activity as a “fad”. It is not confined to the film industry, It can happen everywhere, he mentioned.

Earlier, Revathy took serious objections to the working of the AMMA Executive Council, the apex body of the Malayalam filmdom when it backed the rape accused actor Dileep. Women in Cinema Collective is a forum constituted for women artists working in the Malayalam film industry.
