North-South divide is a political gimmick, but centre must do justice to southern states: Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan

Taking exceptions to the dominance of northern states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the Jana Sena President asserted that center must strike a balance between two regions in order to address the problems faced by the people down south.
Commenting on the notion of north and South divide, the former actor believes that North-South divide is the creation of political leaders but common citizens of the ground zero have no issues as such. The Jana Sena also urged center to revisit the existing modal of revenue sharing in a bid to mitigate the poor economic condition of the region.
Invoking Dr B R Ambedkar, Pawan said that the great leader had proposed the idea of for a second national capital in the south but political parties conveniently ignored the same. He assured that his political outfit will pursue the matter in the interest of the people.
Dubbing Chandrababu Naidu’s third front plan as scrap, Pawan said that Naidu’s political ambition will ruin the so-called united front. The leader also mocked TDP for promoting dynastic politics. The 47-year leader also questioned the induction of Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh, in the state Cabinet. Currently, Lokesh is serving as the IT and Panchayati Raj Minister.
When asked about Jana Sena’s take on 2019 general election, Pawan mentioned that upcoming Lok Sabha Polls will be crucial for the future of all regional parties. He expressed that Jana Sena will have a significant contribution in strengthening democracy.
On this occasion, Pawan Kalyan blamed BJP for not fulfilling the promises made during the 2014 elections to the people of Andhra Pradesh when Jana Sena backed BJP-TDP alliance.
“Jana Sena supported Naidu’s party but he failed to deliver and when questioned Naidu resorted to personal attacks instead of providing solutions,” he mentioned.
Famous actor Pawan Kalyan launched his political party Jana Sena in 2014 and extended support to then BJP-TDP alliance. Once a blue-eyed boy of TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu, the ace actor is openly blaming Naidu for not fulfilling the promises made during 2014 Polls.
Recently Kalyan announced his retirement from film industry citing political and social commitments. The actor turned politician posted a statement on Twitter and cleared the air.
