Hirani celebrated his 56th birthday on Tuesday. Born to a Sindhi family in Nagpur on 20th November, 1962, he worked as a film editor for many years before shifting his focus towards advertising. Hirani soon started teaming with Vidhu Vinod Chopra and bagged his first big opportunity as a film editor with Hrithik Roshan-Sanjay Dutt starrer Mission Kashmir. Soon, Rajkumar Hirani jumped into filmmaking and in a career spanning over 15 years, he made blockbuster films like Munnabhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai, 3 Idiots, PK and Sanju.
