Speaking to the media, Bharti said that Lord Ram is of all and BJP does not have any copyright on Ram Janma Bhumi movement. Her reaction came after when some Uttar Pradesh BJP leader accused Thackeray of political opportunism. On Sunday, Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray along with his family members and party workers visited the disputed makeshift temple of Lord Ram and offered prayers.
Speaking to the media, the Shiv Sena demanded that BJP led Modi government should take quick and positive steps in order to fulfill the long cherished dream of Ram temple. Thackeray stated that the central government must bring a separate legislation before the verdict of the Apex Court. He further added that BJP would have to face the wrath of people if Mandir issue remains unaddressed by the central government.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also welcomed Thackeray's move and opined that Shiv Sena’s Mandir drive will strengthen the ideological bond between Shiv Sena and BJP.
