Chennai, Nov 27: According to the latest buzz, versatile actor Ajith Kumar has been finalized for the Tamil remake of award-winning courtroom drama 'Pink'. The ace actor will reprise the role of Big B Amitabh Bachchan.
The Tamil remake of Amitabh Bachchan- Taapsee Pannu starrer flick will be helmed by H Vinoth and late Sridevi’s husband and veteran Hindi produce Boney Kapoor will bankroll the project. The original Hindi version was directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.
Dubbed as 'Thala 59', the shoot will begin from the third week of December and makers are planning for a 2019 release. Ajith Kumar, fondly known as ‘Thala’ during Sridevi’s 'English Vinglish', promised the late actress that he would team up with Boney Kapoor.
Ajith Kumar will be seen in Vishwasam which will hit the screen in January 2019. The maverick actor’s rural drama is being directed by Shiva. Actress Nayanthara will be the leading lady. Recently, makers of Vishwasam, Sathya Jyothi Films unveiled the official motion Poster.
