Port Blair, Nov 27: In this world of social networking, we say that people around the world have come under one roof of the network. But Andaman and Nicobar island police officials are facing difficulties to retrieve the body of an American citizen, Johan Allen Chau, who, was allegedly killed by the Sentinelese tribesmen recently.

On Saturday Police officials tried to reach towards this island but they had to withdraw to avoid confrontation with the tribals. "We have mapped the area with the help of these fishermen. We have not spotted the body yet but we roughly know the area where he is believed to be buried," senior police official Deependra Pathak said.

Pathak told AFP: "They stared at us and we were looking at them."

John Allen Chau, 27, who travelled to North Sentinel on 17 November, was killed by the tribesmen inhabiting the island. Fishermen said they saw tribesmen drag a body along a beach and bury it. Chau was said to have been killed with arrows when he landed on North Sentinel island in the Andaman and Nicobar Island group. It was also stated that Chau wanted to convey the Word of God to the tribesmen and convert them to Christianity. He was s preacher who had been to that island on a number of times.
