Vizianagaram, Nov 28: Responding to ‘Anti-Telangana’ jibe of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Telugu Desam National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that TDP has every right to contest polls in the newly crafted state.

Addressing the gathering here, Naidu said that he was deeply pained by the constant personal attack by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi founder.

Recalling his tenure as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, Babu mentioned that his Telugu Desam worked day and night for the development of the Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister claimed that Hyderabad as an IT hub shot to fame only because of his vision, planning and contentious perseverance. “After developing world-class eco-system and infrastructure in Hyderabad, now my focus is on Amaravati”, said Naidu.

Earlier, K Chandrasekhar Rao took a jibe at Chandrababu Naidu and dubbed Telugu Desam as an irreverent entity in the state of Telangana. “Naidu did nothing at Amaravati and now claiming credit for Hyderabad”, said Rao.
