Mumbai, Nov 29: In order to address the huge demands of online streaming platforms, acclaimed filmmaker and producer Karan Johar is now entering into the world of Digital Entertainment.
Under the prestigious banner of Dharma Productions, Johar on Wednesday made an official announcement about the digital division of Dharma Productions.
Titled as ‘Dharmatic Entertainment’ the newly founded firm will produce content for various online streaming platform platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Informing about the venture, the ace film-maker took to Twitter and said, “Our new journey begins!!! DHARMATIC !! The DIGITAL content company!”

Veteran film critic Somen Mishra will head the Fiction department whereas, Aneesha Baig has been roped in to look after the non-fictional content production.
