New Delhi, Nov 30: Days after criticizing the Kartarpur corridor project, senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu should be booked under the National Security Act.

Referring to Navjot Singh Sidhu’s photograph with separatist leader Gopal Chawla, the Rajya Sabha MP demanded a strict action against the irrespirable behavior of the cricketer turned politician.

He went on saying that National Investigation Agency should probe Sidhu’s alleged link with Pakistan government and Khalistani leader Chawla. He further demanded that the Punjab Minister should come clean over his association with the Khalistani leader.

Earlier, Swamy termed Kartarpur corridor a risky move by the center, he demanded that the proposed four-kilometer-long corridor between India and Pakistan should not be misused for the purpose of infiltration.

The former Union Minister emphasized on a full-proof security eco-system where people should register 6 months before for the holy pilgrimage. Citing the reason of international border, the BJP MP stated that mere passport check is not enough so strong major should be taken in a bid to keep a close tap on citizens coming from Pakistan.
