New Delhi, Nov30: At the second technical session of today's #DevelopmentDialogue, #NITIAayog's conference on Health System for A New India, panelists discuss ideas on how existing pooled resources & levers of strategic purchasing can be reformed to enable an efficient #healthsystem of #NewIndia.

Development Dialogues on Health System. “The country must strive for Universal Health Coverage.” Said Dr. V K Paul in New Delhi today while addressing the conference. India's journey towards an inclusive Health System must embrace indigenous AYUSH systems of primary healthcare. Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is a path-breaking initiative of the government to achieve universal health coverage.” He added.

On the occasion, NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said, digital Health has the potential to transform how health care is delivered and how it is paid for.

What is New India?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched”Sankalp se Siddhi” (Attainment through Resolve) scheme.

“The New India Movement 2017-2022 envisages India free from poverty, corruption, terrorism, communalism, casteism, and uncleanliness and unite the entire country by adopting good governance and using technology.”

Such initiative of the Government will result in the golden days in the health care sector.
