New Delhi, Dec 1: Border Security Force is celebrating its 54th day on 1st of December. Minister of State Kiran Rijiju was the chief guest of this program in New Delhi. This Day celebrated in all its sector headquarters and units under its jurisdiction. Director General BSF and all ranks salute the supreme sacrifice of Head Constable Narender Kumar & offer condolence to the family of the brave heart.

HC Narender attained martyrdom on 18 Sep 2018 in an unprovoked Pak firing across the Border in Jammu.

The Border Security Force (BSF) is the primary border defense organization of India. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of the Union of India, it was raised in the wake of the 1965 War on 1 December 1965.
