Telangana polls: Treat pre-poll alliance as a single party: Mahakutami leaders to Governor

Hyderabad, Dec 10: Taking a cue from high voltage political drama during Karnataka assembly election, leaders of Congress led Mahakutami today called on Telangana Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan and summited a memorandum regarding the pre-poll arrangement.
According to media reports, in an official communication, the Praja Kutami leader urged Narasimhan to consider the pre-poll alliance as a single party. It further mentioned that if the People's Front gets a majority, the first preference should be given to Praja Kutami.
In Telangana assembly election, Congress party had teamed up with Chandra Babu’s Telugu Desam Party, Communist Party of India, and M. Kodandaram led Telangana Jana Samithi.
The Courting will take place on December 11.
