Anantapur, Dec 10: Coming down heavily on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu’s claims on Central assistance, senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari said that Naidu out of political revenge not acknowledging the majors taken by the Central government.
Addressing the gathering here, the former Union Minister claimed that funds worth Rs 9,000 crore has been allocated for the prestigious Polavaram national irrigation project.
“Narendra Modi led BJP government is quite judiciously addressing the issues faced by the coastal state but Naidu is busy in portraying BJP in a bad light”, she mentioned.
When asked about recently held Telangana polls, the BJP Mahila Morcha in-charge said that her party is ready to back TRS in case of hung assembly.
