Gorakhpur, December 10: President Ram Nath Kovind, graced and addressed the Founder’s Week Celebrations of Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh today. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, State Governor Ram Naik were amongst the other dignitaries present on the occasion.
   
 
Speaking on the occasion, the President noted that the Gorakhnath Peeth have made important contributions in the eastern Uttar Pradesh region in spreading awareness and knowledge. The Parishad helped in character building of youth by inculcating in them respect for culture, devotion to the nation and readiness for social work.
 
 
Focussing on the education view, he continued to say, “Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology and Baba Raghav Das Medical college have settled to provide superlative medical education to the students. AIIMS will also soon be part of the sector. I believe that these institutions will create professional youths serving the society.”
  
 
President Kovind claimed that Uttar Pradesh has the largest number of young people in the country and the new policies of the Yogi Adityanath government should help them become job creators.
 
 
President Kovind also praised the contribution of saints from the Nath sect in the field of education and contribution towards society and during the freedom struggle of India. He said that he has visited the Gorakhnath temple several times when Mahant Avaidyanath, the mentor of Yogi Adityanath, was the head.
