TRS sweeps Telangana, Chandra Babu Naidu accepts defeat; Congratulates KCR

Amaravati, Dec 11: keeping all political difference aside, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu today Congratulated Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for the stupendous performance in Telangana assembly polls.

Naidu after the bitter electioneering took to Twitter and extended best wishes to his old friend KCR. Following his father, TDP leader and IT Minister Nara Lokesh also greeted the Telangana Chief Minister.

Speaking to the media, accepting defeat of Congress- TDP led Mahakutami, the TDP National President said that Telugu Desam respects the mandate given by Telangana. Referring to BJP’s performance in Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh Rajasthan, Naidu said that assembly poll outcome underlines the ragging ager against the ruling party BJP.

For the second time, K Chandrasekhar Rao won the turf of Gajwel Assembly with the margin of over 50,000 votes. He defeated Congress’s Vanteru Pratap Reddy. KCR polled 109648 votes whereas Reddy managed to get 57969 votes.
