The 1 min 32-second teaser is completely powered with the typical Rajinikanth swag and Mass appealing appearances. within 40 minutes, the teaser has already clocked more than 1M digital views.

Besides Rajinikanth, the movie has an ensemble cast which includes Simaram, Trisha Krishnan and, Vijay Sethupathi. The grand project is being produced by Sun Pictures, a leading production house in Tamil filmdom.

Young music director Anirudh Ravichander has scored the mass songs for Thalaiva’s Petta. According to media reports, Petta will recreate 90s looks of Superstar Rajinikanth. The recently launched Music album has already created a big buzz on various Social media platforms.

Basking in the success of 2.0, Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited flick Petta will hit the screens on Pongal 2019.
