President Kovind devotes Rice Bio-Park and Advanced Centre for Agricultural Research & Education to the Myanmarese

Naypyidaw, December 12: The Indian President on the three day visit to Myanmar have initiated to step ahead in strengthening the existing robust ties between the two countries. Today, on his second day in the nation, Kovind has dedicated ‘Rice-Bio Park and the Advanced Centre for Agricultural Research & Education to the people of Myanmar, citing the another India Myanmar friendship project in Nay Pyi Taw.
 
“Happy to dedicate to the people of Myanmar the Rice Bio-Park, another India-Myanmar friendship project in Nay Pyi Taw. We are happy to share India's experience of using rice biomass to enhance livelihoods of farmers of Myanmar. I wish the project all success”, tweeted Kovind in relation.
The president’s office further urged to inform through twitter saying, “President Kovind dedicated the Advanced Centre for Agricultural Research & Education to the people of Myanmar in Nay Pyi Taw. Funded by the people of India, under the bilateral Frienship Project, the institute will help scientists of Myanmar in research and capacity building.”
On the first day of the President’s visit, the two nations signed an agreement between the National Judicial Academy of India and the Office of the Union Chief Justice of Myanmar for training and capacity building of judges and judicial officers in Myanmar. With the vision of developing the strategic, economic, political relations Kovind further that India attaches special priority to its relations with Myanmar. Myanmar is a key partner for India’s “Act East” and “Neighbourhood First” policies.
 
“In India, we are aware of the challenges Myanmar faces in taking forward the peace process, national reconciliation and economic recovery. I want to say to you that the Government and people of India stand by you. We are in full support of your peace process and in preserving the unity and territorial integrity of Myanmar—all of which are fundamentally in our own interests as well. For without that, India cannot succeed in its effort to bring development, prosperity and connectivity to our citizens in the Northeast, which borders Myanmar.”, said the President at the State Banquet hosted by the President of Myanmar.
 
It is widely estimated that Kovind will have a meeting meeting scheduled with the veterans of the Indian National Army (INA) which will be followed by the community reception in honour of the President, hosted by the Indian Ambassador in Myanmar. The presidential visit however is set to cease by 13th of December this year.
