Baseless allegations are not in favour of Nation: Amit Shah lambastes upon congress on #Rafale verdict

Bhartiya Janata Party president Amit Shah today welcomes the decision given by Supreme Court regarding Rafale deal.

The verdict has only served to vindicate the Union government's stand that there was no corruption or nepotism in the case. He also demanded that Congress chief Rahul Gandhi apologizes to the nation for raising "childish allegations" against the Narendra Modi government, and disclose his source of information on the matter.

"Slap on the face of those who do politics based on lies". "Why did the Congress not approach the Supreme Court if it has evidence of corruption? The doors of the Supreme Court are open to everyone... It is clear that they knew their allegations were baseless, without any facts to back them. Everything they said was based on lies," he said. "We are ready for a discussion on the Rafale deal in Parliament. I challenge Congress to come and debate the issue on the floor of the house."

While answering questions about Joint Parliamentary committee party president challenged Congress party and said that it is only possible when we discuss the issue in the parliament. BJP lead government is ready to discuss the issue whenever opposition says and whatever points they want to discuss we are ready to discuss for unlimited time.



 

Shah also urged reporters to ask Congress president about why Rafale deal was not finalized in the period of 2007 to 2014. BJP lead government made deals between government to the government. He alleges that who was the mediator while doing deals at the time of UPA government. He also said that Such allegations on the governing body decrease morale of countries defence persons.
