PM Modi clinches G20 to India in 2022 additive to 75th year of Independence

Buenos Aires, December 2: India will be hosting the G20 Summit in 2022, when the country will be engaged in celebrating it’s 75th year of Independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday during the extant meet of the international grouping in Argentina. In the ongoing G20 summit in Buenos Aires, he invited the leadres all over the world to India in 2022.
 
"In 2022 India completes 75 years since Independence. In that special year, India looks forward to welcoming the world to the G-20 Summit! Come to India, the world's fastest growing large economy! Know India's rich history and diversity, and experience the warm Indian hospitality," PM Modi tweeted.
 
It was Italy earlier, set to host the G20 summit in 2022. However, on the request of PM Narendra Modi representing India, Itlay agreed to host the same in year 2021 and that India in year 2022.
 
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chinese President Xi Jinping for the fourth time this year. The two leaders agreed that there had been a "perceptible improvement" in bilateral ties after their April summit in Wuhan. The duo also expressed hope that 2019 would be an even better year for ties between the two Asian major economies.
 

 
 
"Had a wonderful meeting with President Xi Jinping," Prime Minister Modi tweeted about his meeting and said the talks revolved around a wide range of bilateral and global subjects.
 
 
PM Modi also met European Council President Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and German Chancellor Angela Merkel here and discussed ways to strengthen the India-EU relations, including joint effort to counter terrorism.
