NTR Biopic: Vidya Balan’s Basavtarakam look unveiled; trailer and music tomorrow

Hyderabad, Dec 20: Ahead of the mega pre-release cum music launch event, makers of NTR biopic today unveiled the first look poster of actor Vidya Balan who is donning the role of Basavtarakam, first wife of legendary actor and former AP Chief Minister N T Rama Rao.


 

Helmed by director Kirsh Jagarlamudi, the period drama will be out in two parts. The first part titled as Kathanayakudu which will focus on the cinematic journey of the legendary actor which will hit the screen on January 9, whereas the second installment will shed light on NTR’s unprecedented political career as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The second part Mahanayakudu will release on January 24.

In this prestigious project, NTR’s younger son Nandamuri Balakrishna will play the titular role. Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati has been roped in for Chandra Babu Naidu’s part. The trailer and music album of much-anticipated multi-starrer, multi-lingual magnum opus will be released tomorrow.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s own banner NBK films in association with Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram and Vishnu Vardhan Induri’s Vibri Media has bankrolled the epic drama. Celebrated Composer MM Keeravani scored music.

Entire family members of legendary NTR especially actor JR NTR aka Tarak will attend the audio and trailer launch function. Besides Nandamuri family, veteran actors like Superstar Krishna, father of Mahesh Babu, Rebel Star Krishnamraju, uncle of Prabhas, Dr.M Mohan Babu, Jamuna, Geetanjali will grace the event.
