Former union minister Rajiv Rudy appointed as national spokesperson of BJP

New Delhi, Dec 22: Nearly year after exit from the Narendra Modi’s Cabinet, Rajiv Rudy again come back in action. Rajiv Pratap Rudy was appointed as national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

 

Rajiv Pratap Rudy is member of Parliament representing Saran (Lok sabha constituency) in Bihar, since May 2014. In November 2014, he was made minister of state, for skill development and Entrepreneurship in Narendra Modi’s government, a significant minister in view of BJP government’s slogan of ‘Make in India’ and associated efforts for making India hub of production.

 

“BJP chief Amit Shah has appointed Rajiv Pratap Rudy as national spokesperson with immediate effect”, general secretary Arun Singh said in official letter.

 
Rudy was removed from his position as minister of Skill development and Entrepreneurship, because a trained candidates under Skill Development ministry Flagship, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) struggled to find the jobs, with rumors of deterioration of the quality of training.
