PM Modi assures Odisha to be on Centre’s nucleus citing infrastructural and mass development

Khodha, December 24: “The central government is dedicated to the overall development of Odisha. From the infrastructural development of the state to the development of the people, all the steps are being taken. I assure you that this work will pursue continuously”, said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a rally in Khordha district of Odisha. Modi also inaugurated projects worth over Rs 14,500 crore during a day-long visit to Odisha today constituting the 100-bedded ESIC hospital in Bhubaneshwar. The super speciality hospital has been built at a cost of Rs 73.5 crore today.
 
He also inaugurated an archaeological museum at Lalitgiri, which is one of the earliest Buddhist settlements in Odisha situated 120 km north of Bhubaneshwar. “A special postal stamp and coin also has been released today, 200 years after the Revolutionary Revolution of the country's first freedom struggle. Besides honoring the heroes of Pyka, work to bring the rich spiritual heritage of Odisha to the world is also being done. Archaeological Museum in Lalitagiri in Cuttack district has also been inaugurated today”, he tweeted further. 
 
 
PM Modi urged to convince saying, “Our resolve to work with devoted devotion for the development of Odisha has reached another important stage today. The Centre is fully paying attention to education as well as public health. With this spirit, the work of expansion in the ESIC hospital made in Khardha-Bhubaneswar has also been completed. Today, this hospital with modern facilities has also been dedicated to the public”.
 
“I have had the privilege of dedicating IIT Bhuvaneshwar to the youth today. Rs. 1260 crores have been spent overall for this project. This grand campus here will prove to be the center of dreams of the youth of Odisha, improving over the employment opportunities.”,he added in series of tweets further.
 
CM Naveen uttered in relation saying, “This is one of the leading institutions of India in Science & Technology. And the students coming from across the country are the best brains of the world. Fulfill your dreams and help the nation grow. Wherever you go, a piece of Bhubaneswar will always be with you.”
 
 
Rising the roundly developmental issues, PM Modi continued to say that Pradhan Mantri Energy Ganga Yojna is in a fast pace towards pushing gas from eastern India to pipe. “Under this, today the foundation stone of the Bokaro-Angul section of the Jagdishpur-Haldia-Bokaro-Dhamra pipeline project has been established. 35 lakh gas connections have been given to women in Odisha. 4 and half years ago only 20% families had a gas connection, now it is 70%. In near future everyone should have a gas connection, we’re working in that direction”.
 
 
According to the Prime Minister, Odisha still however is not connected to Pradhan Mantri Jan Ayrogya Yojna “Today people of Odisha are asking why Odisha has not accepted Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. If Odisha had implemented this scheme, people would have had access to free medical care across the country,” said PM Modi.
 
Besides PM Modi and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, Governor Ganeshi Lal and Union Ministers Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan are among others who have accompanied the PM to grace the ceremony.
