Prestigious SR Nathan Fellowship for Nara Lokesh

Singapore, Dec 26: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh has been conferred with the Singapore's prestigious SR Nathan Fellowship. The IT Minister who is currently on a 3-day long visit to Singapore will personally attend the award ceremony.

Recognizing the contribution of Lokesh in the field of IT-driven governance, SR Nathan Fellowship will be accorded to the Young TDP leader. Lokesh is the son Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu and grandson of former CM and legendary actor NT Rama Rao.

Named after veteran leader SR Nathan, the father of modern Singapore, the main purpose of SR Nathan Fellowship is to encourage those leaders who transformed the lives of the people using technology.

A member of Andhra Pradesh legislative council, Lokesh was formally inducted into the Party in May 2013, with the responsibility of TDP's youth wing. Later he was indicted into Chandra Babu Naidu’s cabinet with the responsibility of IT, Panchayath Raj, Rural Development. Lokesh has done his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
