PM Modi slammed Rahul Gandhi for playing politics of caste; says “won’t get votes on his knowledge of Hinduism"

Jodhpur, December 3: Asserting a sarcastic jibe at Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he was a small "kaamdar" (worker) who never claimed to have full knowledge of Hinduism but the "naamdar" (dynast) has the right to speak.

Addressing a rally in Jodhpur, PM Modi launched a scathing attack against the Congress for questioning his knowledge on Hinduism, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday used the dynast-worker analogy to ask the opposition party where it got its expertise on the religion.

Accusing the Congress of mudslinging, PM Modi said that the more the grand old party slings, the brighter will the lotus bloom. He said that it seems that the Congress has started a university for spreading lies. Commenting on Congress sole claim on telling lies, PM Modi said that if the Congress believes that they will win this election on the basis of lies, they are highly mistaken. They were thrown out from other states, they will face the same fate here also. They do not believe in the politics of development and progress. They believe in the politics of caste.

Giving a befitting reply, PM Modi said, "Hinduism and Hindutva are ancient ideologies that are so rich with knowledge and culture that I can never know the entire thing. Many learned men and intellectuals also don't claim that they know the entire thing. However, Congress seems to know what the greatest intellectuals don't."

Also further, PM Modi accused Congress of fraudulent land acquisition with the help of Robert Vadra. PM Modi said that the BJP has made stringent laws for loan defaulters under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, under which we have recovered Rs 3 lakh crore from loan defaulters.

Talking about Rajasthan, the city Jodhpur, PM Modi mentioned that when the people didn't know about climate change ages back, it was the Bishnoi community in Jodhpur that laid their lives for the protection of the environment. It is because of then that India today has won the accolade of "Champion of the Earth”.

Rajasthan tourism is gaining momentum today only because of erstwhile BJP chief minister Bhairon Singh Shekhawat. Be it Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Jodhpur or the palaces of Rajasthan, which have been there since the time of the UPA, now find their names on the map of the world only because the BJP promoted it well. Tourism is a field which has given us trillions and trillions worth of dollars. It gives occupation to a vast spectra of people -- from roadside hawkers to travel companies. Rajasthan is one of the most attractive tourist spots in India. Last year, 1 crore tourists came to India, yet the Congress goes to foreign nations and talks ill about India.

Highlighting developments, PM Modi asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party promised building toilets and as promised they fulfilled it as Rajasthan now has around 80 lakh toilets initiating hygiene and sanitation. CM Vasundhara Raje has approved 7000 Megawatts of solar energy in Rajasthan.
