Use modern technology to enhance Power sector: Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu

Hyderabad, Dec 3: Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to incorporate the best possible global technologies in order to refine the existing power sector in the state.
Addressing the meeting of top officials via teleconferencing, Naidu said that global technologies in the field of power should be employed for the better outcome. He mentioned that Andhra Pradesh should be to compete with other global players.
Commenting on the ongoing electricity generation, transmission and distribution process, the Chief Minister said that new technology should fulfill the future needs of the state.
The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure less transmission and distribution losses. He further asked Principal Secretary for Energy and CRDA to study modules adopted by other states.
