Simmba Trailer is out! Ranveer Singh is the new crusader of women’s safety

Mumbai, December 3: The trailer of Rohit Shetty's "out-and-out action masala entertainer" Simmba just dropped and we can only say W-O-W. The three-minute trailer begins with Ajay Devgn in a special appearance in his Singham avatar.

 

But if Bajirao Singham was all about honesty, Ranveer Singh as Sangram Bhalerao is the complete opposite. "Main police wala bana paisa kamane ko. Robin Hood ban ke doosre ka madad karne ko nahi," he says in the trailer.

Ranveer, as the unabashedly unscrupulous cop, is in cahoots with the antagonist, Sonu Sood. He smashes bones, mints money and romances Sara Ali Khan.

"Simmba is a full blown masala film. It's an entertainer. I believe masala films are the holy grail of mainstream Hindi films... I am very lucky and I am very blessed that I am under the guidance of the king of the genre. Rohit Shetty is the gold standard in the masala film genre. I am making a foray into this genre in his film so it could not get any better," Ranveer had earlier said.
