Dubai hosts exhibition : Gandhiji, Khadi and Gita Intelligence for the 21st Century
December 31: The Consulate General of India in Dubai will host a poster exhibition titled 'Gandhiji, Khadi and Gita Intelligence for the 21st Century' at the Consulate premises next week. A poster exhibition on the relevance of ‘Bhagavad Gita’ combined with the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi will be organised by the CGI, Dubai and VijnanVikas Pattern Institute on 4th and 5th of January. The exhibition is being conducted as a part of celebrations of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
The exhibition will be full of spirits as it will showcase the relevance of Bhagavad Gita. A statement from the consulate said, “It will showcase the sustainable, inclusive and enriching strategies for success and fulfilment in life and living, enshrined in the 5000-year-old scripture”.
“The exhibition is about tapping the infinite potential of the 'Self', be it at workplace, home or in the society in general”, it further added.
There will be a variety of hand-crafted Khadi products from the Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan in India showcased in the exhibition.
“The participants will experience the concepts, strategies outlined in the Gita through the eyes of Gandhi in a practical and rational manner”, explained in the consulate statement.
