Modi attacks Congress saying that party has nothing to do except for the politics of division

 

 

Jaipur, December 4: After a successful election rally in Hanumangarh in the state of Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was all set to address the crowd in the city of Jaipur on Tuesday. “When there was surgical strike in the nation, there was a mourning meeting of the Congress party. They were not proud that our soldiers sacked the enemy's teeth.”, addressed the Prime Minister to the masses in Jaipur. “The Congress party had no trust on the move of the surgical strike. They demanded the proofs in relation.” , he added .

 

 

In the series of tweets further, Modi said that their party received privilege from the blessings of the public that they could take a big decision regarding the Kartarpur corridor connected with Guru Nanak Dev. “The Congress has nothing to do except for the politics of division.”, he tweeted.

 

 

Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday addressed an election rally in Hanumangarh where he used the Kartarpur corridor to hit out at the Congress and said the party will have to answer why this was not done 70 years ago. He said that Kartarpur went to Pakistan due to lack of vision, sensitivity of then Congress leaders.

 

“Then Congress leaders had no idea about importance of Guru Nanak Dev, therefore Kartarpur in Pakistan today,” he said, adding that credit of Kartarpur corridor goes to your vote, correcting Congress mistakes was my destiny.

 

 

Narendra Modi said that after he took over as the PM in 2014, he took several key decisions to fight corruption. “Headlines five years ago were about corruption scams, have you seen any news of this kind in the last five years?” he asked the crowd.

 

 

BJP's Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is facing probably the toughest battle ground so far as Rajasthan goes to the polls on December 7 in a single phase. The outcome of the polls will surely have an impact on the general elections slated to be held in early 2019. In Rajasthan, a total of 4,74,79,402 (2,47,60,755 men and 2,27,18,647 women) voters are eligible to exercise their franchise rights to elect a new leader in 200 assembly constituencies. In 2013 polls, the BJP had won 163 seats while Congress managed to secure only 21 seats.
