Prime Minister, President and Vice President pay tribute to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on 63rd Mahaparinirvan divas

New Delhi, December 6:  Indian President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkhaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with other dignitries pay homage to the Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his 63rd death anniversary today.
Also, Loksabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thaawarchand Ghelot , veteran BJP leader L K Advani and Congress President Rahul Gandhi offered floral tributes to the statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar at Parliament House Lawns in the Parliament House Complex.
 
 
This particular function was organised by the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. "India bows to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas," the Prime Minister tweeted. Meanwhile, Vice President Venkhaiah Naidu also tweeted saying, “We pay tribute to the memorials presented on the Mahaparinirvana day of Dr. Ambedkar, the architect of our constitution, lawmaker, economist, educationist and social thinker.”
 
 
“Beyond narrow discrimination, we take the resolve to build a human harmonious society.”,Naidu added He also honored the work by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar in the series of tweets further.
Popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, he was a jurist, economist, politician and social reformer. He was the Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee and country's first Law Minister after Independence.
