Bengaluru, Dec 6: Kumaraswamy led JD(S)-Congress coalition government has locked the date of The much anticipated Cabinet expansion. On December 22, post-Karnataka legislative Assembly winter session, new faces will be inducted into Kumaraswamy Cabinet.

Speaking to the media after the meeting of Co-ordination committee, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who also heads the five-member coordination committee informed about the big development. The senior Congress leader said that MLAs from both parties will get a chance to serve as the chairmen of the state-run corporations and boards.

The Badami lawmaker further added that Congress President Rahul Gandhi will finalize the names of new cabinet members. Siddaramaiah stated that six Congress and two JD(S) member will get Cabinet berths. Refuting media reports, the former Chief Minister expressed that Congress party and JD(S)-Congress coalition will complete the full stint of five years.
