Mumbai, Dec 6: Celebrated filmmaker Farhan Akhtar believes that content with universal appeal has reduced the language barriers in Indian film dome. He further mentioned that the emergence of the digital platform has enriched the craft of storytelling irrespective of language.

He was addressing the media on the trailer launch of Koler Gold Fields, the much anticipated Kannada film starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty, Farhan in collaboration with Ritesh Sidhwani and Anil Thadani’s AA films is presenting the Hindi version of the multilingual period drama

Talking about KGF, the actor-director said that the story of KGF is very strong and it's visually very exciting too. He hoped that Hindi audience will love the captivating narration Koler Gold Fields.

Koler Gold Fields is a period drama written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale films. Shot in Kannada, the magnum opus will also be presented in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.

The first installment of two-part series will hit the screens on December 21.
