Awakening the masses, media plays a significant role in laying foundation of New India: PM Modi

New Delhi, December 7: Implying a strong base, the media has connected with information and concerns to millions of people in contiguous countries. Media has been considered as the fourth pillar of democracy and this has been seen all over these years with their contribution in nation building. Highlighting the importance of media role in the country Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that the digital revolution will give boost to the media is laying a strong foundation for New India.

Addressing a conclave on 75 years of Dainik Jagran group, PM Modi highlighted how strong media has played its role and has created a strong base in changing the country. Recalling the era of Quit India Movement PM Modi said that the media has been used as a strong tool in changing the perception then and has also helped in bringing New India’s new expectation, new resolution and new culture.

 

Elaborating the concept of digital revolution, PM Modi elaborated that the new age media with the help of digital revolution will link and highlight issues through newspaper. Carrying the legacy of informing people with right deal of information the media has undoubtedly laid foundation of growing and developed India before the people.

 

Media has played a significant role in emitting government initiatives to the people and therefore helped the masses connect with gaining their wants. PM Modi said that knowing and understanding media, he has always welcomed media’s tips and suggestions and also their criticism which leads him to work hard for the people.

Furthermore, PM Modi the government has provided transparency in the work they perform and the results are widely evident to the masses. Pitching on the youth as the growing future of the country, PM Modi said that the youngsters of the country are highly talented and diligent. Accounting on janbhagidari the government has rightfully involved people in contribution to the country with all their efforts.

 

Adding the new projects lined up in near future, PM Modi mentioned the he is planning to pitch in new developments on enabling power and electricity through underwater cables. Mentioning the developments made in the country PM Modi highlighted how the country has developed by enabling them sanitation requirements, connectivity through railway, incurring income tax, GST revolution etc.

Lastly, PM Modi said as far as media is concerned it has been instrumental in releasing new dreams in basing a new India and the masses have the right to question it because it the the right given to the people.
