Patanjali group to set up a mega food park in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram

Amaravati, Dec 7: Yog Guru Swami Ramdev on Thursday called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat here and discussed the proposed investment plan in the coastal state.

Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved Limited with an investment of Rs. 634 Cr will set up a mega food park in  Vizianagaram district. With this proposed venture, near about 33,400 new job opportunities will be generated for the local citizens.

The Patanjali Food and Herbal Park would come up on a 172.84-acre site at Chinnaraopalli village. The food processing will be equipped with the modern facilities such as cold storage with blast freezer, grading packing for spices and grains and dry warehouse. A special juice extraction plant with the capacity of 1,500 tonnes per day, would also be set up with an investment of ₹45.20 crore.

Processing Plants for biscuit, noodles, frozen vegetables and spices will boost the local. In order to boost the local Agro sector, separate Processing Plants for biscuit, noodles, frozen vegetables and spices will be established by the Patanjali group.
