New Delhi, Dec 7: Supreme Court dismisses a public interest litigation raising allegations against Finance Minister #ArunJaitley relating to capital reserve of the @RBI.

Supreme court fines petitioner M L Sharma of 50,000 rupees. Sharma had accused Finance Minister. Sharma accused Finance Minister of Plundering Capital Reserve of RBI.

While hearing SC says that we have no reason to entertain PIL. Do not subscribe to such PIL.

The top court said the Supreme Court registry will not accept any petitions from ML Sharma unless he pays the fine.

KK Venugopal, the government's top law officer said the time has come to take a look at petitions wasting the court's time.

Seeking action against Mr Jaitley, ML Sharma had alleged that he wanted to "plunder" the capital reserve of RBI to waive off loan to certain companies.

The top court imposed the fine as the lawyer continued with the argument after a petition was rejected.
