Kolkata, February 10: The self-proclaimed face of Patel community in Gujarat, Hardik Patel, who once called for apolitical fight demanding reservation for Paatidars, is becoming more politically inclined as 2019 Loksabha election is approaching. Provoking the assumption of a new alliance, Hardik Patel met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata on Friday. He also assured to “campaign” in support of ‘Didi’ during next year.

The political motivation of Hardik is becoming clearer as he advised in this situation TMC and Congress should each other’s hand. Though Congress now acts as an opposition party in West Bengal it is not very rare in past, the two parties took a swift change in political crisis for their benefit. So, it is not hard to understand what is cooking under the table.

The meeting went on for one hour in Nabanna. After the meeting, Bengal CM praised Hardik, saying he is very intelligent. She said if he joins politics it would benefit people. However, Hardik said he would not join politics now. He promised to campaign for Mamata Banerjee in next election.

Hardik also praised Bengal CM calling her “Lady Gandhi” for her ‘simple’ lifestyle. He also invited the latter to join election campaigning in Gujarat. He said he would give a serious thought on Didi's offer if he decides to join active politics.
