Arun Jaitley unveils BJP’s “Vision Document” ahead of Tripura Assembly Elections

Agartala, February 11: Today Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley released Bhartiya Janata Party’s “Vision Document” for Tripura as Assembly Elections are going to get floored on 18th February. Manifesto promises to bring in visions for the development of each and every corner of Tripura. 

The BJP manifesto covers the development visions consisting smart development plan for rural and urban areas and basic infrastructure assurance for cross-sections. Reportedly, it also covers information technology tools for the new generation and pay package and perks for the government employees.

It is being speculated that the BJP has also promised to regularize the service of all contractual and temporary workers and open up a massive employment opportunity.

 

"As implementation of the recommendations of the Seventh Central Pay Commission (CPC) for the Tripura government employees is one of the key polls promises of BJP-IPFT alliance, the release of the party's 'Vision Document' by Jaitley would be an important political step," Assam Minister and BJP in-charge of Tripura elections Himanta Biswa Sarma said.

Meanwhile, BJP National President Amit Shah is holding a mega road show which is already attracting massive number of people.

Union minister Nitin Gadkari, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, MP and filmstar Hema Malini, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu would be star campaigners for the party in Tripura.

The poll campaign of the BJP would end with a rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Agartala on February 15. Polling will be held for the 60-seat Tripura assembly on February 18 and counting of votes is on March 3.
