Killa, February 12: Launching a fierce attack on Manik Sarkar-led Tripura government, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that incumbent state government has failed to address the key developmental issues of the state. Addressing a poll rally here, Gadkari blamed the Left government for neglecting important infrastructure project which has ruined the industrial prospects of Tripura.

Underlining the importance of natural resources in the north-eastern state, the Union Minister assured that if voted to the power BJP would take all possible steps to cater the crucial sector in order to strengthen the state economy.

Questioning the 25 year’s regime of Sarkar government, Gadkari urged people to de-throne the incumbent Left government. He assured that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP will take new initiatives to bring more investments to restore the key industrial activities in the state. Tripura will go to polls on February 18 and the results will be declared on March 3.
