Telangana government to launch We-Hub on International Women’s Day
Hyderabad, February 12: Marking the occasion of International Women’s Day, Telangana government is all set to launch its much anticipated We-Hub incubation center dedicated to Women Entrepreneurs. Informing about the development in his recent interaction with regional members of Confederation of Indian Industry, IT Minister KT Rama Rao announced that on March 8, Telangana government will launch the exclusive start-up in order to encourage the Women Entrepreneurs.
During Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017, the IT minister had announced the exclusive venture. A brainchild of KTR, We-Hub was taken up after the successful rollout of Hyderabad based incubator T-Hub. With the initial allocation of 15 crores, women entrepreneurs will receive funding for business between `25 lakh and `1 crore. The IT minister opined that platforms like We-Hub would pave the ways for the future Women Entrepreneurs.
