K Chandrasekhar Rao to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Hyderabad, February 13: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get financial assistance for state government’s flagship programmes.

According to media reports, KCR who is reportedly unhappy over the ignorance of Telangana in recently presented union budget will seek funds for the ongoing programmes like Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha and allocation of Rs 10,000 crore for the Kaleshwaram irrigation project.

During this meeting, the Chief Minister will brief PM Modi about the ongoing projects of state government. Rao will urge center to look into the matter of delimitation of the Assembly constituencies post bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.

Besides Prime Minister Modi, the Chief Minister will call on Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to discuss the matter related to Centrally-sponsored schemes. The chief minister will convey his reservations on Union Budget.
