BJP refutes charges against Ram Madhav; files complaint against media outlet

Kohima, February 13: Rejecting all the media reports against senior BJP leader Ram Madhav, BJP on Monday said that strong legal action will be taken against the concern news portal for maligning the image of BJP general secretary. Speaking to the media party spokesperson Nalin Kohli said that anti-social elements are deliberately making attempts to divert the attention people from main issues ahead of the Nagaland state assembly election, scheduled on February 27. 
 
Meanwhile, senior Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also responded to the developments and scraped the investigative piece carried by “Newsjoint” (thenewsjoint.com).The North East Democratic Alliance convenor stated that party will sue all those who are involved in spreading rumors against former RSS leader.
  
 

Earlier, a new portal called “Newsjoint” had published one new item about Ram Madhav’s alleged interaction with separatist NSCN leaders with two Naga women in a hotel room in Nagaland. Taking a serious note of it, BJP also lodged a complaint with Delhi Police cyber cell, demanding a stern action against the news portal — thenewsjoint-.com over defamatory matter published against Madhav.
