Sunjwan attack: Lauding the bravehearts Rajnath Singh expressed condolences for the martyrs and families

Jammu, February 14: During the terrorist attack in Army Camp Sunjwan, we again witnessed the dedication of brave heart soldiers to defy any challenge posed on India’s safety. To flush out infiltrated militants from Sunjwan military station, five soldiers were martyred. Lauding the bravery of soldiers and family, Home Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed his condolences for the martyrs and their families.

 
When we always laud the soldiers we forget the support system, the brave families who are always ready to extend their help. During the encounter, ShahzadaKhan , wife of Rifleman Nazir Ahmed was seriously injured and was rushed to Military Hospital. Blissfully, she was saved and brought a new life.

As a mark of respect towards this brave lady and to bless the newborn baby, S.N. Shrivastava IPS, Special DG J&K Zone, CRPF met the brave lady on behalf of the Union Home Minister and conveyed the deep appreciation by the Home Minister.

Until the time that there are persons like Shahzada Khan, the country is ready to prevent such attempts gallantly and successfully. He blessed the baby and presented a bouquet to the lady as a token of solidarity to her on behalf of Hon’ble Union Home Minister. Though her contribution cannot be reciprocated, she has been gifted a bouquet to respect her solidarity.

A group of heavily armed Jaish-e-Muhammad militants had entered the Sunjwan Military Station base station around 4.55 am on last Saturday. Earlier in 2016, in same cowardly manner militants had stormed the army's Nagrota camp on the outskirts of the city, killing seven soldiers, including two officers.

Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman addressing a presser following her visit to Jammu and Kashmir has stated that India will hit back Pakistan strongly. She left on Monday has left for winter capital Jammu to take stock of the security situation in the state that emerged after the Sunjwan Fidayeen attack.
