Visakhapatnam, February 15: Launching a frontal attack on YSR Congress leader Jagan Mohan Reddy on his resignation drive, senior TDP leader and Andhra Pradesh HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that Jagan’s attempt to seek public sympathy will not pay any dividends in upcoming assembly and general elections.
Speaking to the media persons here, Rao described Jagan as a non-serious politician and accused him of misleading people for petty political gains.Commenting on the infighting in YSR camp, the TDP leader pointed that defection of 23 YSRC MLAs indicates the fragile state of YSR Congress party. He further added that YSR Congress chief has miserably failed in his much-hyped padayatra as people have lost faith in Jagan’s party.
As a mark of protest against the central government for not granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress leader Jagan Mohan Reddy had announced that all YSR MP will tender their resignation by April 5.
