Explosion at a Dharamshala in Bihar’s Arrah town; investigation underway

Arrah, February 15: A low-intensity blast hit the Harkhein Kumar Dharamshala in Bihar’s Arrah town. On Thursday morning on the bomb went off accidentally in a lodge occupied by the perpetrators. After the accident, the police reached the spot and arrested the one injured person.

The local reports say a major terrorist attack was averted by the perpetrators themselves. All five suspects, among whom four are absconding, came from West Bengal to stay at the Dharamshala. As soon as they checked in there was a low-intensity blast in their luggage.

One of the members who was injured could not flee and has been caught by Police. Police took him to an undisclosed location to interrogate. After that, it came to light that a major terror attack might have been planned in Arrah. Police also recovered a pistol and an Aadhaar card from the injured one.

''There were 5 people in the room, out of which one is injured and has been sent to the hospital. Their purpose can only be identified after investigation. One aadhaar card & pistol have been recovered from the room,'' Arrah SP said.

In this same Bihar town, which is 70 km away from Patna, a major bomb blast at the civil court killing three people and injuring several others. The woman who was killed in the bombing could be the one who was carrying the explosives.
