Washington, February 15: In a new blow to the advancing technology, Intel has sought out to launch its own smart glass. After a series of failure viewed in the first by Google with their pair of spectacles which did not receive much popularization, Intel has created Vaunt whose goal is not to have a smartphone on your face but will act as a laser screen to give complete details of your phone.

The glasses are flexible and feather-light. The Vaunt may not weigh much, but that doesn’t mean its light on tech. The Vaunt is packed with a processor, accelerometer, Bluetooth, and a compass. It also has a laser that projects a tiny image directly onto the corner of your retina. That image acts as a screen, presenting notifications from your phone, showing you walking directions and also acts like a reminder.

Perhaps, the Vaunt doesn’t look like a pair of smart glasses. They’re more James Bond than Robocop. It’s pretty much doing the work of a smart watch, but on your face, saving you the milliseconds it takes to raise a wrist to a face.

However this new invention has not got a release date or a said price tag but the company is planning to soon launch it. Having said that the market of this smart spectacle seems to be catering a large section of audience and particularly the youth and the working class. This new innovation is awaited by many and hopefully unlike Google and Snapchat Spectacle, Intel's smart glasses will make a change in the world.
