Uttarakhand gifts youth by its ‘New Start Up Policy’

Dehradun, February 15: In order to create employment opportunities, it has been decided to develop 500 start-ups in Uttarakhand. New start-up policy has been approved.

In order to increase entrepreneurship and self-employment in the youth, the government has approved a new startup policy. It was stamped in the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat. Under the start-up policy of 2018, 500 new start-ups (industries) will be installed in the state. Sources said that the decision has been given to give a lot of concession to the youth for new startups in the policy.

Normal youth who start the startup will get Rs 10,000 per month for a year, whereas in the mountainous youth, women, SC and ST youth will get 15 thousand rupees per month.

Industries established under startup will get a discount of three years in SGST. Young entrepreneurs will pay the first SGST Later, the government will return them to this amount as reimbursement. For the marketing of the product, the youth will be given five lakh rupees while the mountain, the women and the SC and the ST entrepreneurs will get reimbursement of Rs.7 lakhs in the form of reimbursement. Entrepreneurship will be started at the school level to create a sense of entrepreneurship among the youth. However, entrepreneurship at the college level will be a separate topic.

Under the startup policy, any youth from the state can establish the industry on the basis of their ideas. For this, he has to make a company. Apart from this, a seven-year-old company can take advantage of the policy till the turnover of 25 million. In the field of biotechnology, the benefit of the startup policy can take up to 10 years old company.

Under the new startup policy, Idea Challenge will be organized every six months to bring the ideas of youth to the fore. Under this, the 10 best-known youth will be rewarded. The government will help to convert these ideas into products. Idea Challenge will be held at Garhwal and Kumaon.
