New Delhi, February 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the World Sustainable Development Summit-2018 in National Capital. The Summit will address a wide variety of issues, including combating land degradation and air pollution, effective waste management and create financial mechanisms to enable effective climate change mitigation. 

PM Narendra Modi addressed the World Sustainable Development Summit. He spoke about the International Solar Alliance which has garnered support from 121 countries across the globe. He highlighted that need of the hour was climate justice.

Speaking about the Namami Gange initiative, he said it has already started yielding results and will soon revive the Ganga.

Adding furthermore, he remarked, "India has always believed in making the benefits of good governance reach everyone. Our mission of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is an extension of this philosophy."

He spoke at length about several initiatives aimed at enhancing 'Ease of Living' through good governance. In this context, he shed light on initiatives like Ujjwala Yojana, Housing for All and Power for All.
