Vijayvada, February 19: Andhra Pradesh BJP in-charge Kambhampati Haribabu has clarified that Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was judiciously addressing all the issues faced by the coastal state. Addressing the meeting of state office bearers, Babu pointed that senior partner TDP is going overboard in criticizing BJP ahead of the crucial assembly and general elections.

Reacting to the heavy criticism from TDP cadres, the Visakhapatnam MP said that deliberate attempts are being made against the ruling party BJP. He urged party members to make people aware of the misinformation campaign led by ruling party. Haribabu announced that BJP would come up with all facts and figures about the status of various projects and schemes backed by the central government.

Commenting on the special category status (SCS) to AP, the Vizag MP pointed that financial aid equivalent to special category status had been granted to the state. He further added that center is committed to the overall development of the state.

Briefing on Visakhapatnam railway zone, Babu admitted that Central government is in talks with all the stakeholders in order to fine-tune the proposed plan. He also admitted that some sections are against the establishment at port city. Babu hoped that state and central agencies would zero down the bone of contention for the hassle-free roll-out of special railway zone.
