Goa Minister Sudin Dhavalikar to be the leader of the house in absence of CM Parrikar

Panaji, February 19: Health of Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar is bit disturbed and he is admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Due to this he won’t be able to attend the budget session meeting and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) leader and Goa PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, member of the ruling coalition, has been chosen the leader of the House in the absence of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.

Initially it was notified that CM Parrikar will attend the budget session. The Budget session of the Goa Legislative Assembly will be curtailed to three days till 21 February, owing to the ill-health of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.

According to BJP President of Goa Vinay Tendulkar CM Parrikar is recovering. Shripad Naik & Sadanand Tanavde also attend the meet.

To inquire about the health of the CM, PM Modi along with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis went to the hospital and stayed for 15 mins on the Sunday evening.
