Seattle(US), February 2: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh has urged global e-commerce giant Amazon to invest in Andhra Pradesh. On Friday, Lokesh called on Michael Punke, the Vice President for Amazon Web Services and discussed future plans about various business opportunities in the coastal state.

During this meeting, the Minister briefed Amazon officials about the ongoing project of Fibrenet where state government under the leadership of Chandra Babu Naidu is providing Internet services to every household for Ra 149 per month. Lokesh invited Amazon Web Services to set up its establishment and cloud centers in Andhra Pradesh.
